Welder/Fabricator

Duties 

  • Responsible and organized.
  • Working in a safe manner to comply with health, safety and environmental guideline?
  • The ability to perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication.
  • Able to accomplish tasks by understanding assembly instructions, blueprints and gathering the required parts, tools, and materials to complete the fabrication or inspection.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering fabrication while meeting specifications.
  • The ability to independently operate equipment such as brake shear, drill press, hydraulic press and various welding equipment.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school graduate with welding training. Preference will be given to a journeyperson.
  • We are a registered B620 assembler and inspector. Transport Canada’s B620 standard sets out the requirements for the design, construction, certification, assembly, modification, repair, testing, inspection, periodic re-testing, maintenance, and marking of highway tanks (tank trucks) and TC portable tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods.


Agricultural Machinery Technician

Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, grain trucks, harvesters, seeding and spraying systems and combines.

Duties

  • perform pre-delivery work, service and repair modern farm tractors and machinery regardless of size
  • analyze failed parts and components and correct malfunctions using sophisticated diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • replace engine, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and air machine systems
  • disassemble, align, fit and machine parts
  • assemble, install, repair and maintain, with hand or power tools, equipment involving transmission servicing, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, heating and refrigeration units
  • rebuild, adjust and service a variety of components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel delivery systems and steering systems
  • communicate work details effectively to others and make recommendations relating to the proper service operation and maintenance of the equipment
  • be aware of fabrication, repair or rebuild possibilities by specialty shops and recommend "outside service" when required
  • use shop orders, tickets and trade-related references correctly
  • service mechanical equipment, basic fuel and fuel injection systems, heating and air conditioning, emission control, lubricating and power assist, electrical and suspension systems, as well as drive lines, differential and gasoline engines


Heavy Duty Truck and Transport Technician

Duties

  • Truck and Transport Journeyperson.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Be willing to assist in training apprentices.
  • Work with minimum supervision.
  • Diagnose, repair, or replace units to OEM specifications.
  • Work well with others.
